White Hall’s Tyler Zuber called up to Major League
Former White Hall and Arkansas State standout pitcher Tyler Zuber has been called up to The Show from AAA ball by the Tampa Bay Rays.
Zuber has been pitching for the AAA Durham Bulls where he struck out 29 batters in 21.2 innings along with a 2.49 ERA. He recorded 4 saves in 5 opportunities, and recorded 3 wins. He did not allow a single run in 12 of his 18 appearances out of the bullpen.
Zuber started the 2024 season in spring training with the Cleveland Guardians where solid work in independent ball in Long Island, impressing MLB scouts along the way.
Tampa Bay signed him on May 14th.
Zuber made his MLB debut in 2020 with the Kansas City Royals where he had 54 appearances during the 2020 and 2021 seasons.
