Six people sentenced for Desha County crimes

Six people have been sentenced for various crimes committed in Desha County. All six were sentenced Monday at the Desha County courthouse.

The people sentenced, their crimes, and their punishment, are listed below:

Joshua J. Smith- 51 counts of Fraudulent Insurance Act, Forgery- 20 years probation, $100,000 Restitution plus fees.

Kevin L. Franklin Jr.- Residential Burglary, Possession of Schedule II Controlled Substance- 5 years probation plus fines and costs.

Jon Andrew Level- Commercial Burglary, Breaking or Entering, Theft of Property- 6 years Department of Community Corrections, plus 4 years SIS.

Brandy Barnett- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia- 3 years Department of Community Corrections, plus fines and costs.

David Denty- Possession of Schedule I Controlled Substance- 4 years SIS, $2100 fine.

Willie Albert Moore III- Possession of Schedule I Controlled Substance, Possession of Firearms by Certain Person, Endangering Welfare of a Minor.- 20 years Arkansas Department of Corrections.
