MLB Pitch/Hit/Run drew many Participants from SE Arkansas
PINE BLUFF — Major League Baseball “Pitch/Hit/Run” drew several participants from Southeast Arkansas, according to Jeff Gross of PRO-DAY Baseball, who hosted the event at Historic Taylor Field.
“We had several cities represented at this years Pitch/Hit/Run competition,”said Gross. “which included Star City, Warren, Woodlawn, Rison, Hermitage, White Hall and Pine Bluff.”
Baseball “Top” performers included:
7-8 yr olds - Evan McCoskey
(670 points).
9-10 yr olds - Charlie Ramirez
(850 points).
11-12 yr olds - Bentley Gober
(720 points).
In the Softball Division, 11-12 year olds Tinsley Poss won for the second consecutive year and outscored all participants (baseball/softball) with 865 points.
Bellamy Reed captured the “Best Score” in the girls 7-8 yr olds (575 points).
