Arkansas MLB Pitch/Hit/Run Contest set for July 25 at Historic Taylor Field in Pine Bluff
PINE BLUFF, AR - Major League Baseball Pitch/Hit/Run Contest will be coming to Historic Taylor Field on July 25, announced Jeff Gross of PRO-DAY Baseball.
The PHR gives boys and girls ages 7-14 an opportunity to showcase their baseball and softball skills, with the opportunity of earning a chance to attend and compete for a Championship during the 2024 MLB World Series!
The Pitch, Hit & Run program is a “FREE” event series for boys and girls, and consists of a series of movements that are important in baseball and softball.
Participants will compete in either 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, or 13-14 age division, with the Age Cut-off set on November 15, 2024.
They will be tested, and their measurements will be recorded for points. Based on their scores, they could advance from a local event to a Team Championship and then to the National Finals hosted at the World Series.
Participants must register in advance online and report to Historic Taylor Field (1201 East 16th Ave/Jim Hill Way) Pine Bluff , Arkansas on Thursday, July 25. Check-in is from 8:30-8:45 am and will be finished by 12 noon. Come dressed in baseball/softball attire, bring bat and glove.
